By 2026, these tools may write and refactor entire modules on command, turning engineers into high-level architects. The programming languages that developers choose reveal the state of the industry and which technologies are gaining traction now. I think Nate’s right that jumping straight to a conclusion about a single factor is a shallow and unproductive way to think about this report.
